Roberto Alvarez is sentenced to four years in prison in connection with the child abuse death of his two-year-old daughter. Mr. Alvarez was found guilty of a failure to seek medical attention for his daughter after she suffered life-threatening injuries from abuse that was inflicted upon her by her mother, Melissa Lucio. Ms. Lucio is convicted and is on death row.
