In Colorado, Benjamin Koller has been charged in connection with the child abuse injuries inflicted on his four-month-old infant son, Jack Sebastian Koller. The charges against Mr. Koller include child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury. The baby is in critical condition as his condition has deteriorated to the extent that his survival is in question. News stories report Jack has suffered a skull fracture, multiple contusions and bite marks. He was taken to Avista Adventist Hospital for treatment when providers observed he had red swollen eyes and bite marks on his arms and legs. Police were notified about the child’s injuries.
